Family Guy Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback
Family Guy is an American animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for the Fox Broadcasting Company that debuted on January 31, 1999. The series is produced by Fuzzy Door Productions and 20th Television and syndicated by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. The series centers on the Griffins, a family consisting of parents Peter and Lois; their children, Meg, Chris, and Stewie; and their anthropomorphic pet dog, Brian. The show is set in the fictional city of Quahog, Rhode Island, and exhibits much of its surreal and dark humor in the form of metafictional cutaway gags that often lampoon American culture. The family was conceived by MacFarlane after developing two animated films, The Life of Larry and Larry & Steve. MacFarlane redesigned the films' protagonist, Larry, and his dog, Steve, and renamed them Peter and Brian, respectively. MacFarlane pitched a seven-minute pilot to Fox in 1998, and the show was greenlit and began production. Family Guy's cancellation was announced shortly after the third season had aired in 2002, with one unaired episode eventually premiering on Adult Swim in 2003, finishing the series' original run. Favorable DVD sales and high ratings from syndicated reruns since then convinced Fox to revive the show in 2004; a fourth season would begin airing the following year on May 1, 2005.
A member from the public mentioned, "Family Guy sucks. It’s full of random and offensive jokes. To this day, they are still making jokes about Judaism, homosexuality, African Americans, the Holocaust, and 9/11. It was one thing 15 years ago, but now it’s just tacky and politically incorrect. I hope that the Griffins are taken off the air before the Simpsons. If you are the type of person who likes shows representing the embarrassing acts of our country, then I would suggest this show for you, but if you’re like me and look at shows from a political view, then I would suggest that when Peter Griffin is on your TV, that you press that button on your remote and change the channel. To make this review I have to give at least one star, but if it were up to me I wouldn’t give any."
Avid Editor (Former Employee) says"Fox television is a very coercive, manipulative company. They will make you feel guilty about living your life in any way outside the company. If you do not sacrifice your personal life completely for this company, they will make it very, very difficult for you. So difficult, that you will lose sleep every night of your life. So difficult, that you will have nightmares."
Paper Boy (Former Employee) says"Management need more training on how to manage. Would be useful if they had an advancement plan for each position. If you work there ask your supervisor for this plan. Cons: But the best"
Programming & Development Assistant (Former Employee) says"Atmosphere of working at FBC is pretty stale, and upper management seems to be following the regimens from FBC's origins in the 1980s, and haven't adapted to the competition from new age media distributors."
VP (Former Employee) says"Generally good experience but management needs more training. Management very personality driven and sometimes competition is counter productive."
Commercial Administrator (Former Employee) says"I only worked in one department at Fox and the management was terrible. The Company was a good place to work just needed to teach their management to treat employee like humans."
Coordinator (Current Employee) says"FOX is a great company to work at when you have a few years under your belt. Starting out, the pay is low and advancement is difficult. Cons: Bad work/life balance, hard to advance, top heavy"
Account Manager (Current Employee) says"Fox kept me happy enough to stay for 4 years. The culture changed towards the end of my time there, which definitely had an affect of why I left. At the end of the day, Fox is still a great company."
Manager (Current Employee) says"By working at a major broadcast network in the epicenter of the industry, the experience gained at this job is incalculable moving forward. It's been tough working for a department that has a looming reorganization, but the management has maintained a positive outlook and focus that is truly appreciated. It's not a social place, per say, as many colleagues don't posses the innate personal interest of their fellow coworkers. This environment makes working a little uncomfortable. However, there still remains a ton of focus within the team."
Project and Brand Manager, Digital Design (Former Employee) says"A nice place to work with all the benefits of working on a studio lot. Culture is friendly and corporate. The company focus could get muddled at times, but there seems to be a renewed focus now that the Disney merger is complete."
Advertising Sales Assistant (Current Employee) says"If one is interested in the advertising sales track, then this is a good starting point. Most of the assistants are fresh out of college, creating a fun work culture. Lots of social perks involved, pertaining to lunches and drinks with clients that assistants are involved in. Cons: tedious, bland work; not creative"
Former Employee - Staff Accountant says"I worked at FOX Broadcasting full-time for more than a year Cons: Management is terrible. Systems are outdated."
Former Employee - Associate Media Manager says"I worked at FOX Broadcasting full-time for more than 3 years Cons: ... while everyone is nice, the mood is clouded by a shared misery amongst your peers. Management abuses their power, there is little to no support or appreciation for young employees, and everyone is stressed 24/7 either by the pressures of episodic TV or management changing their minds on strategy at the 11th hour."
Former Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I worked at FOX Broadcasting full-time for more than 3 years Cons: Psychotic bosses, no bonuses unless you are part of the club and Human Resources is useless if they even are there. Management also doesn't care about employees either."
says"I have been working at FOX Broadcasting for more than 3 years Cons: Terrible Pay and nothing was done to rectify it"
says"I worked at FOX Broadcasting Cons: Management is the worst. They allowed a tyrant to work there and abuse all of her employees. Poor management is why I had to leave. I have never seen such unprofessional management, more importantly, I have never seen a company let someone get away with such behavior."
Current Employee - Anonymous Employee says"I have been working at FOX Broadcasting full-time Cons: There is a serious lack of communication. There is no teamwork and everyone is just trying to stay afloat."
Video Editor says"I worked at FOX Broadcasting Cons: place smells. Bad vibe. Awful management"
says"I worked at FOX Broadcasting Cons: Management is clueless as to what their direct reports actually do on a day to day basis."
Former Employee - Director says"I worked at FOX Broadcasting full-time for more than 5 years Cons: The company has gone from one extreme to the other, with a lot of changes that aren't always good for employees unless you're management. Salaries and bonuses are low for the industry and low to middle range for the overall LA job market for everyone except executives. HR is worthless unless you are management or have a friend who can get you favors."
Former Employee - Account Executive says"I worked at FOX Broadcasting full-time for more than 3 years Cons: Horrific management team...I had multiple clients tell me if I ever brought them around they would cease doing business with our station. Worse, the company has a systemic process of refusing to pay earned commissions. Via new biz development I far exceeded sales goals 2 straight yrs, yet twice was told I would not be paid any more the remainder of the FY...nothing. Not even for the orders I'd already sold. In each case there was more than 3 months left in the yr. Come to learn via litigation discovery the same actions were illegally taken against others in other FOX marketO&Os. Not the greatest way to foster company loyalty among exceptional people."
RON BROGDEN says"MARIE HARF ON OUTNUMBERED. TIME TO WATCH AN OLD MOVIE ON DVR. SHE'S ANOTHER DEMOCRATIC HACK. IF I WANTED TO LISTEN TO HER NON-SENSE, AND LIES I WOULD TUNE TO FAKE NEWS CNN. AT LEAST JUAN WILLIAMS OR DONNA B. IS NOT ON. WHY THE HELL WOULD FOX HAVE DONNA ON THAT GAVE THE INFO TO CRAZY HILLARY. I DVR TUCKER, SEAN, LAURA, WATTERS AND GREG. I DON'T CARE FOR THE OTHER SHOWS. WHEN ARE TUCKER AND SEAN GOING TO START THEIR OWN CHANNEL? AND FOX WHEN R U GOING TO RETRACT AZ? AND WHAT IS ALL THIS PRESIDENT ELECT BIDEN B.S. WITH COURT CASES GOING ON? REGARDS"
sheri rowden says"I'm out,no more fox for me,"
Gayle Herbert says"Fox you lost me last night! You were no different than any of the other news stations. I hope Tucker and Laura leave, they are the only good reporters! Sad your projection theories were horrible and so basis."

YaGirl T says"Completely biased information"
Emily-Jane Dawkins says"Fox news are full of bigots and racists. Stop making Trump out the be amazing, he's not. Stop making POC out to be dangerous, they are not. It's not a cute look fox."
D says"Company sided with bigoted, racist comments made by their host Nick Cannon towards a certain group of people"
Consumer says"I was enjoying LEGO masters but why can’t they build famous churches or bridges or anything real instead of these stupid good versus evil monsters. This show misses a great opportunity to show the true skills of LEGO masters. I’m sick of it"
David McPond says"Why does any network have to bully to entertain? Looking at the shows on fox in the past year, many of them have been taking the low road and bashing people and other networks rather than shining a spotlight on the good shows they have. I find it difficult to encourage my children to be positive when networks allow bullying on tv. I am not talking about the news. I'm taking about prime time television. What happened to promoting good television? Instead they bully Trump and Hillary on every show they have. People are turning you off. We the people have had enough."
Tara Neville says"commercial was too much but over all ok."
